Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using the Catch app, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Catch. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country).

2. The service

Catch provides guided micro-moments for noticing and naming automatic thoughts, plus optional learning content ("the Path"). Your content is stored on your device only; you are responsible for your device backups. We may improve, change, or discontinue features with reasonable notice for paid features when offered.

3. Not medical advice

Catch offers general self-reflection techniques inspired by established ideas about automatic thoughts. It is not a medical device, does not provide diagnoses, treatment, or professional advice, and is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Never disregard professional advice because of something in Catch.

4. Subscriptions, lifetime purchase, and billing

When Catch Plus is offered, it may be available as an auto-renewing yearly subscription and as a one-time "Lifetime" purchase, both billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account at the price shown at purchase.

A yearly subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in your store account settings — deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Free trials convert to the paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

A Lifetime purchase is a single, non-recurring payment that unlocks Catch Plus for the life of the app on your store account; there is nothing to renew and nothing to cancel. Refunds for either option are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; EU/UK consumers retain their statutory withdrawal rights.

5. Acceptable use

You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or use it in violation of applicable law. Your license is personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable.

6. Intellectual property

The Catch app, brand, mark, design, and content are our property or licensed to us. Content you create belongs to you — and since it stays on your device, we never receive a license to it.

7. Disclaimer and liability

Catch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the same extent, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the statutory rights of consumers in the EU, UK, or elsewhere.

8. Termination

You can stop using Catch at any time by deleting the app, which also deletes your on-device data. We may suspend access for material breach of these Terms.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app before taking effect. These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of habitual residence where consumer law requires, and otherwise by the laws of Austria.
